The seed-to-loaf chain

Every loaf starts in soil. Grain is a seed. The seeds you sprinkle on top are the same kind a farmer plants. You are eating a field.

Recipe

  • 1 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt + 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3 tbsp mixed seeds
